The head of the Russian Imperial House of Romanov, Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna will take part in the “Royal Days” memorial liturgy and other events in Ekaterinburg organized to observe solemnly the centenary of the July 17, 1918 murder of Tsar Nicholas II and his family and faithful servants.
“We are expecting her arrival on July 16. She is coming by train at 10:00 in the morning. She is planning to take part in the Divine Liturgy. She will be present and pray at the night service. They are not planning to go on the procession, but the group of pilgrims will arrive to Ganina Yama Monastery on the 17th by bus,” reported Fr. Maxim Minyailo of the Church on the Blood in Ekaterinburg.
