Russian Legitimist has announced a new endeavour: The Kirill Project 2024.
Together with the help of an international group of scholars, the project aims to fill out the historical record with valuable translations of historic documents relating to the life and service of the Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich, Emperor-In-Exile.
In addition to translations and articles, the project launches with an online reissue of the Grand Duke’s memoirs, published with the permission of the Russian Imperial House. This searchable online edition has, in addition to its historic footnotes, a whole new set of annotations which will prove useful to scholars and non-specialist readers.
The project has been launched to celebrate the centenary of the Grand Duke’s manifesto of 13 December, 1924, which began the Russian monarchist movement in exile, by asserting that the Russian Imperial Fundamental Laws were still in place for monarchists.
